How to burn a candle

Trim your candle's wicks to 5mm before every single burn (yes, every single burn). This helps keep each flame at the right height for your vessel.

Never burn your candle for more than three hours in one session. This helps ensure an even burn and prevents your vessel from overheating.

Placement matters. When your candle is lit, keep it away from draughts and flammable materials. Make sure it's out of reach of any kiddos or pets as well.

When 1.5cm of wax remains, it's time to retire your candle. Don't worry, this isn't goodbye! Repurpose the vessel for use around your home.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in fire, hazard or injury.

Hot Tip

Believe it or not, wax has a memory. Make sure the wax pool melts to the very edge of the vessel whenever you burn your candle. This will help avoid tunneling and encourage an even burn every time.
